Rally Obedience

Purpose:
The Rally Obedience class is intended for handler/dog teams who have participated in the Introduction to Rally and are preparing for, or considering participation in Rally competition.

Content:
Rally Obedience will introduce Rally signs for three different venues - AKC, UKC, and APDT. Participants will be taught how to perform the exercise(s) on each sign and will practice courses. In addition, general Rally rules will be discussed. Participants will run the course under the Rally rules in order to develop confidence and better teamwork with their dog. Class participants will be encouraged to participate in Rally practice events, and matches and competitions.

Length of Class:
The Rally Obedience class meets once a week for eight weeks
